Very warm, runs exact to size, and great price.

Tried out the coat this morning in our first Northeastern US winter blast. Very warm and wind resistant with well thought out pocket placement. Attractive non-puffy look. The detachable hood unfortunately is a catastrophe. There is absolutely no way to adjust it properly to prevent incoming wind while allowing for proper visibility. Almost got crushed by a bus. I will wear it without the hood and it will work well.

This is a very good quality parka that is very warm. It looks like it's made well and will last a long time.

Having purchased this preseason I haven't had the opportunity yet to determine this Parka's effectiveness in warding off the cold. However, the construction is top notch, Nor does it make me look like I'm ensconced in bubble wrap. It is reasonably weighted, Comfortable. I bought it a size larger than I needed to accommodate one of the heavy thick sweaters I like to wear come winter. Compared to similar products, it leaves them in the dust, and no obnoxious labeling for making me into an advertising billboard. It equals the quality of construction of my 40 year old well worn Schottt leather bomber jacket and 30 year old Schott peacoat, both of which will be passed on to the next generation or two.

I am very pleased, and will likely buy two more as holiday gifts.
