The leather is thick, premium, and clearly built to last. Fit is excellent and only gets better with wear. Clean, timeless style that works dressed up or casual.

And somehow my wife loves it even more than I do—which says a lot.

Another Schott jacket that I love. This one also fits perfect. I'm 5'10, 190 Lbs with a 42.5 chest. So I initially bought the 44 but it was too big all around so exchanged it to a 42, it's perfect, looks great and I have room for a sweater or flannel. I can wear it with anything. I love the cool vintage look of this quality leather. Everyone always compliments me on my new jacket. I also own the 184SM in a 42. I love these both. My only trouble is figuring out which one to wear because they are both great....

Absolutely stunning, every details matter. There are authentic reasons for Schott jackets to be expensive. Looks gorgeous and premier. Premium material means when you feel whole details in premium. This historic racer design is lovely.Thick heavy leather with nice dual linings, made to last, smells lovely, beautiful smooth finish. Fit is true to size, comfortable with medium stiffness.I’m sure it will break in quickly. Three Schotts so far. Love them, gonna enjoy all. Thanks!

I've wanted a Schott jacket for a while now. Tried several on and found the perfect fit and style.

Ordered 2n 141 from 1971 style. Zipper on NYC was cupped and had trouble zipping. Spoke to Jerry at corporate in NJ. She said 6 were available and would pick out good one. It was perfect and got it the next day. She is an excellent employee.

For years I used a cheap jacket thinking it was good enough. Then, I treated myself to the 141.
Wow, what a difference. Great quality, perfect fit, looks great too. My only regret getting the 141 is I did not do it years ago

Great fit, I have a 49.5" inch chest and the (size 50) jacket leaves me enough room to add a layer underneath if needed. The quality of the leather is top notch. Perfect for riding, or just wearing out. Very satisfied with the purchase.

I'm a Boomer.Been riding for a long time.Had a Harley in the 80s.Sold it to do the family thing.I bought a Vanson leather at that time. Buying Made In America has always been important to me.Anyway I had my eye on this jacket for a long time and finaly pulled the trigger. Fits me perfectly right out of the box.This is a qualty product.

I just bought the 141 Café racer. This jacket is great definitely can be dressed up or down. It is very tough and heavy to understand. Whatever is thrown at it. I went into the store looking for a perfecto jacket but it just didn’t give me the feel the 141 did. You can buy any jacket you want from schott But this is a must have. I was going to buy a size 44, which fit very snug but after watching the video of how this jacket should fit I decide the size up and be more comfortable. I hope that overtime it does not stretch too much to where I regret not buying a 44.

I have one other Schott the unlined 582 and I like it a lot. I got it in brown a few years ago and it gets compliments all the time. After a while I was like I’d love a black leather jacket that has a classic look and Americana style but not as heavy motorcycle focus or big collars. This 141 fit the bill perfect. The fit was pretty spot on for me I went true to size as I prefer a standard or even slightly relaxed fit. The leather smells incredible and feels thicker but also not really heavy. I can’t wait to break this in a little more and start seeing the aging happening. It feels like owning a piece of history knowing it’s close to a style and pattern they’ve been making for 60+ years with only minor tweaks but still made in the US, still family run, still having and holding a high quality standard.

I want to wear it all the time but it’s too hot outside right now so I wear it inside when I can to break it in a little. I’m excited for cooler weather to take it out. I took out the liner so it should work great for at least a couple of the slightly warmer months and if it ever gets too cold it’s an easy addition.

This jacket looks stunning and feels great. The leather is the best I've seen and not too stiff, super comfortable right out of the box. Overall outstanding quality. I'm 5'10 and 163 lbs and size 40 fits like it was made for me.

I'm not sure why I waited so long to buy Schott jackets, they are nearly perfect. I love my band collar leather jacket, the removable insulation insert makes it more versatile and doesn't make it too tight during the extreme cold.

I’m 5’10 190 athletic build. 44 is the perfect fit. Tried 42 and had to return as it was too snug and wouldn’t allow layering without feeling like I was hunching over. Finally satisfied after a series of online returns.

Most important thing is the right fit. Then you can enjoy your coat without hesitation. The leather is top notch as is the quality. Styling is subtle for a motorcycle coat which is what I was seeking. Looking forward to many years of living with this beautiful coat.

I am a motorcyclist for over 40 years and have always demanded the highest quality out of both my motorcycles and equipment. It’s been about 20 years since I purchased my last leather jacket and it was time for a new style. In doing much research, I narrowed down my search to a Belstaff and Schott. I chose the Schott 141 Cafe Racer for many reasons with the top one being the Outstanding quality of the jacket and the fit. I love the thick leather, the removable liner, which helps make this an all season jacket Most importantly was the comfortable fit where I found Schotts Sizing recommendations were spot on. I am 5‘10“ 200 pounds muscular build and a size 44 fit perfectly. As great as the 141 looks and feels it also felt great while on my cruiser and sport touring bike. The sleeves are a perfect length for reaching the bars too. What’s really cool about this jacket as you do not have to be a motorcyclist to enjoy it as the style looks really cool on or off a motorcycle Added BIG bonus was the fact that the company is still run by the Schott family , headquartered in New York City and made right here in the USA ????. I highly recommend this jacket

Nicest jacket I ever owned hands down. 5' 10 190 Lbs. I purchased a size 42 and it fits snug but is starting to loosen up. I had first tried a 44 and it fit well but was a little boxy around the stomach so I called customer service and we decided on the 42, especially since I ride a motorcycle. Apparently you don't want a loose jacket during rides that could shift in a crash. Also, I just felt the 42 is more form fitting and looks better on me. Honestly though they both looked great.

Not sure how much layering I can do with this until it works itself in. Of course I've been wearing it 24/7 just to do that :-).

Quality product, good customer service and should last you a lifetime. Not saying anything anyone else has already said. Enjoy.

This is my first leather jacket ever and it feels great even if I’ve only had it for a few hours now. It’s hefty to pick up but when I’m wearing it, I don’t even notice it/it doesn’t weigh me down. Build quality feels amazing and like it’ll last forever.

I’m 73 too Bad I didn’t buy this 50yrs ago, it would be broken in real nice by now lol. This is a real nice Leather jacket, I’ll wear it all winter long. I'm impressed by Quality of this Leather. Go Easy

At 55 , I decided to buy my first leather riding jacket. As expected, it is high quality and well made. To help others with sizing questions, I am 6’1”, 207 lbs, average build. Using the fit chart on Schott's website, I ordered a 42 regular. When it arrived, I found that it was slightly too short, it just felt a bit too small. When seated on the bike, the sleeves rode up as did the back. Schott's exchange process was very easy and painless. A 42 long is perfect. Sleeves are proper length when reaching for the handlebars and no peekaboo when seated! Although its an expensive jacket, I am proud to support am American business and it was money well spent. The only suggestion I would make to Schott is to use a two way zipper, rather than a conventional zipper. More biker friendly.

Love the jacket. I got the 48L, and even though it's a "long", it sits at the belt just right. In fact, I need to wear shorter shirts (untucked) so they don't hang lower than the jacket. I originally purchased the 641 and it was way too small/slim/short. Support was very fast in helping me figure out the right size and sending in the return. The 141 is not as slim, but definitely not baggy. It's perfect for my body type. I'm 6'2", 230lbs, I have a belly (not huge pot belly, just some extra beer storage). I wear a 48L suit jacket, so this is TTS. The only issue, and it's almost not worth mentioning, is how the material is folded over and sewn right below the zipper catch. So I have to push some material away from the zipper catch to get the zipper started, which is a little frustrating when you just want to reach down and zip. I have to fumble with it, and look down at what I'm doing, can't just "zip by feel". But hey, it's a thick leather jacket, it will be ok! I've gotten very positive comments from friends when I show up in my new jacket. My female friends in particular ;)

The jacket it self is high quality with deplorable fit. The pictures on the web site illustrate a decent fit, in reality the sleeves are way longer.

Great leather, style and finish. One of the very best cafe racers out there. Makes you feel so pleased when you take out of the box.
